Classical Music Pieces That Take Me all Over the World
As a lifelong lover of classical music, I, Jazz Cole, developed a love of classical music from my childhood when I was a dancer. I love all music (that sounds good), and classical music has been a source of inspiration during my creative thinking sessions. This genre of music has had a long history around the world, and I want to share with you my top 3 favorite classical pieces that my mind and spirit around the world.
Claude Debussy- Arabesque No. 1
French composer
When I listen to this piece, I automatically think of the impressionist painter, Claude Monet, because I either think of gardening even after having visited Monet’s home 4 years ago. I love listening to this piece while I’m working on a creative project (especially while writing this post at the moment). I remember watching a documentary on PBS a few years back about a well-known dancer (I can’t remember her name at the moment) who later on got Polio and I remember hearing this beautiful song in the background.
Four Seasons, Antonio Vivaldi
Italian Composer
I’m a fan of this piece despite it being really long. My favorite parts are summer and winter because, with Spring and Fall, I’m not a fan of very light and happy-go-lucky classical pieces; I love softer and deeper pieces of music more than anything else.
Life, Ludovico Einaudi
Italian Composer
I love this piece because the melody inspires me to be curious. I love many pieces by Einaudi simply because he’s very skilled at crafting a story through his musical arrangements. I strongly recommend you check out his songs under the titles: Nightbook, Night, and Two Trees.
